All Flowmaster mufflers (regular and Delta atleast) drone at about 2500-2700 RPM. I had regular 40 series muffs on my Trans Am and they did it too, but the tone of a 350 is different so it wasn't as bad.

the '660 is a very loud engine, and Flowmasters make it worse.

But it's cool if you like it, i enjoyed it for a few years but i got tired of setting off car alarms. I switched to Hooker Aerochambers because they are a bit deeper, flow better and don't resonate like the Flowmasters do.

Yes it does get a little annoying at times. My car is an automatic and when I am on the interstate, my RPM's are at 3200. It doesn't seem to bothering me at that time. But when I am just crusing through town at 1500 to 2000 RPM's, it does make me shed a small tear I guess there is nothing that can be done to reduce the resonation, if that is a word.

Cutouts don't help our cars any...dyno proven by Dave. I think he actually lost a couple HP when he opened the cutouts versus running his full exhaust.

they might help someone with a stock exhaust setup though..

my system is designed fairly well, which is probably why they didn't help.

ya thats what im talking about. either run a stock setup with cutout, or like on my blazer (this would be a little bit harder on a j-body to fit but still doable i think) Was ran a nice and loud exhaust with pipes exiting out each side, and i also have another exhaust including a muffler from a 4 cyl gm car (jbody maybe i think) and i use the electronic cutout to switch between the two setups... I freaking love it, loud when i want, flip a switch and get on interstate and its dead silent. Also have another cutout by headers for really loud

I could draw up a diagram if ne one cant understand what im describing, but the cutouts im talking about are qtp or equivillant, they are pricey tho, i think 175 a piece. Check them out on summit.

I was thinking of doing dual exhaust, just having the stock exhaust then have the cutout running to a second pipe exiting with like a cherry bomb on it... so I could turn it up when I wanted... Cut outs are too expensive for me though

the cherry bomb flows about the same as the stock muffler..

One of my plans was to install the cutouts right before the mufflers, and use some super quiet stock mufflers.. that would make every day driving not so bad, and uncappable for the strip.

Warlock mufflers allready do this for you though..
